Aipower launch WearBuds

It’s been quite a while since I did a Tracker review

But let’s be honest here innovation has been a little lacking in the tracker market, and with the speed of development in the smartwatch sector, trackers have been being towed along in the wake somewhat.

But, as you know I, don’t give up that easily and so I, kept on looking around corners, and under rocks. Then suddenly i spotted this little beauty, hidden in Kickstarter.

Aipower unveils Wearbuds

The Smartdeveloper Aipower have launched the world’s first unit housed true wireless earbuds. Now there is a new term here, ‘true wireless,’ what is that?

Well put simply these earbuds require no wires even for charging, they are charged by the wristband when housed within it.

Now how cool is that?

I have not yet managed to get a device to test and review, but as you all know, eventually I will and i will test it to destruction on your behalf.

Graphine

Part of the incentive to get a hold of one of these (and a sure fire way to make me want to test anything), even if only because it mentions the inclusion of Graphine, and being a fellow Mancunian, I just have to take a look at how it’s inclusion effects the overall product.

Part of the incentive to get a hold of one of these (and a sure fire way to make me want to test anything), even if only because it mentions the inclusion of Graphine, and being a fellow Mancunian, I just have to take a look at how it’s inclusion effects the overall product.

All that is left

All that I can really do at this point is let you know about it’s capabilities from what it tells us in the blurb, and leave you with a few sexy pics.

Fitness Tracker on Wrist

The Aipower will include all of the usual fare; Heartrate monitor, step counter, sleep tracker and calorie burn. The built-in colour touchscreen will allow access to all of the fitness date along with notifications for all of the usual social apps. All of the tracked data will be saved to the Aipower fitness app. All of the smartphone notifications will be customazeable, on the wrist, on the fly.

Call Freely with Either Earbud

Now if this isn’t unique, it’s really rare. Wearbuds support Mono Mode, a feature that comes from the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology, allowing fast and easy hands-free phone calls with one or both earbuds.

Features & Specs

  • True wireless and Bluetooth 5.0
  • Qualcomm smart audio chipset
  • Support aptX codec
  • Graphene-augmented drivers
  • Instant pairing
  • Earbuds playtime: 6 hours(12 hours with band)
  • Fitness band battery life: up to 7 days
  • Earbuds: IPX6 waterproof
  • Fitness band: IPX6 water-resistant
  • On-wrist fitness data: heart rate, steps, sleep patterns, etc.
  • On-wrist notifications for call, message, apps (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram)

The ‘In’ Crowd

If you are anything like me then just once in a while I like to be sat in the bar before the ‘In Crowd’ have even got there tickets. If that’s the case then don’t even wait for my review, just get along to Kickstarter, and get yourself one.

  1. what  an awesome gadget!

Does it work with any kind of phone? Android or any other, as long as it has a WiFi or Bluetooth. Personally, I have always used the same brand to avoid any incompatibility, but this aipower is really awesome and I would like to try it.

I really like the fact that you do not need a separate charger. It makes it easy to use from anywhere. I can do my long jogging without any problem with my music, great!

This is a great presentation, I really enjoyed all the details you gave.

    thanks

    1. Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to read my article, i am so glad that you liked it.

In answer to your question, yes it is Android and IOS compatible and so should work with most phones.

  2. Hi Adrian, I can’t tell you how much pleasure I had watching all the wonderful moving graphics in your post. I had to read it twice as I was so intrigued by them.

What I find truly amazing is that all these tracking devices even track your movement as you sleep. I am hoping that I move about a lot in my sleep as I am mostly at my computer during the day and so the tracker would not show much movement then unless it is finger movements.

All jokes aside, I think it is a great thing to have a wristwatch that is able to keep track of the steps you take during the day as it really motivates people to get more steps in. If you are a competitive person, even competing with yourself to see how you can improve your fitness, this is a great tool to have.

Am waiting for you to try out the earbuds so I can see what you find out. Can’t wait to see that review.

    1. Jill,

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I am really glad that you enjoyed my article, I try to keep them as interesting as possible, so it is always great to hear when someone has had fun reading me.

  3. The fitness tracker risk looks very interesting. It obviously is something techy which today’s generation can totally handle. Personally, I am yet not al there however, I am willing learn I recommend this toe veryone; especially those who workout. I will send this to all the Zumba Ladies.  Can’t wait to try it out!

    1. Hi Linda,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my article and post a review. Please point your ladies in my direction, if they are looking for a tracker or a watch I am sure that i will be able to find  them what they are looking for. I also offer a sort of personal shopper thing for people who are looking into this market for the first time, so that they get something that they are looking for rather than waste their money on something that they will never get any use out of.

  4. Well they certainly look like a cool product, and one which should get a good backing on kickstarter, but I’m wondering if these are already set up for sports wear?

I run long distances every morning and I’m wondering how these buds will handle sweat (gross I know, but long distances cause sweat around the ear areas!). Are they capable of handling this, or are they releasing ‘sport’ versions at a later date?

    1. Hey Chris,

Thank you for taking the time to read my article, I am so glad that you found it interesting.

As for the suitability for use in challenging sports, before i get my hands on a test model, I am afraid that i can’t help with any certainty. However what I can say is given the companies that the people behind the project have been involved with I can only presume that they know what it takes to produce a viable sports product and they certainly advertise this product as a sports edition.

      Kind Regards

  5. Hello Adrian, this Aipower video clip is absolutely amazing! Wow!

I think my main worry is weather the earbuds are going to stay in my ears. I’m worried they’ll just fall off, since this happens with most earpieces for me. Any insights on how that could play out for me?

Also, I just couldn’t find the “buy here” link — how can I buy this product??

    Thanks, Phil

  6. Wow, that’s an awesome post. I’ve not used any such products earlier so I was looking for more information about many of them. And, I’m glad to find your post at the right time.

Your review is in depth and comprehensive. I’m very much looking forward to use this. Does it come with any warranty period? And, also, is it product available around the world?

Thanks a lot for sharing this useful product review.

  7. You’ve done it again! Every time I visit your site I find something new that knocks my socks off! What a neat new fitness tool!

I really like the wireless earbud feature and the fact that they store right inside the device itself. The earbuds being waterproof is a definite plus too. Often I like to take a dip in the pool after hard workouts so this would be a perfect no fuss option for me. Having the ability to make phone calls from either ear bud is pretty cool too.

I can’t wait to see the full range of its abilities when you get a unit in your hands to test. I will keep checking back. Thanks for highlighting the Aipower Wearbuds – this device has really got my attention!

    1. Hi Shannon,

I keep my fingers crossed that one day i will find the one that convinces you to allow me to find the right watch or tracker for you.

      Kind Regards

  8. What a great graphic to compliment this review with Murky and Lurky haha. These ‘true wireless’ earphones in WearBuds look pretty amazing. That they don’t need wires even when charging is really cool. I do like the look of Aipower and that it comes with its own app as well as Mono Mode phone calls, which definitely adds convenience while walking or jogging or shortly thereafter. For someone with lots of clients or who has to make phone calls regularly for business this is especially very useful. Thanks for a great review and I’m definitely bookmarking your post and sharing with friends.

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my article, I am so pleased that you found it interesting, and thank you once again for the kind words in your review.

  9. Great article and moving pictures. Lots of people would be interested in the earbuds.

Tracker with earbuds seems to be great for music and any type of fitness? I would love to have one or give as a gift to family and friends

    Thank you for sharing the awesome information that people will love;

    1. Letha,

  10. This Airpower Smartwatch is a great gift for your partner who’s not just into fitness but a tech savvy as well. I showed it to my husband and he was astonished with the built in wireless earbud. This is really convenient for charging and space saving – no earbud casing and the battery life is good for a week! The style, as you have said is just so sexy. It doesn’t look bulky and doesnt go to the normal circle or square shape.

I just want to ask about earbud replacement though. What if you lost a piece, would it be easy to replace it? I appreciate this very detailed review. The way you put your  article is easy to understand for a non techie person like me. I hope to hear more reviews from you.

    1. Hey MissusB

I have contacted Aipower, and they say that their product will benefit from full product support and replacement parts will be available on a quick turn around basis.

      Kind Regards

      Adrian
